Labyrinth was the first interactive sound installation ever made by Niki Neecke. It was part of the thesis for the Audio Design diploma. The installation has been showed during the Allstar Festivals at Werkraum Warteck pp in Basel. The protagonist moved over a field of 81 pressuresensitive mats. The position of the protagonists was concluded by the X- und Y-Axis of the mats. The player had the possibility to move over the mats and trigger soundfiles dependant on its position. To discover more soundfiles he had to move in certain patterns.
